Between them, these companies owe their trade creditors E14.1m

8 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator next week (13th - 17th July 2015) - less than 2 meetings per day.

According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their short term creditors a combined total of E14.1m.

Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2014.

Between January 1st and July 8th this year, 398 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 17% on the same period in 2014 when 480 companies had held an MOC.

This drop is yet another sign of our improving economy.
